藕 ǑU

ǑU is a series of filigree jewellery designs.
ǑU (藕, ǒu) means lotus root in Chinese, symbolising elegance and purity. Inspired by its form and imagery, we reinterpret the shape of the lotus root through filigree craftsmanship, expressing the beauty of aggregation and separation.

The filigree is designed with a contrast between the interior and exterior, highlighting the beauty of the gold filigree work. The inlaid golden beads add an exquisite touch to the filigree while reinforcing the structural strength.
