STARPIC is a modular lighting system inspired by the experience of gazing at the night sky on the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau — a rare moment when, far away from urban light pollution, one is confronted once again with the raw and pure beauty of the stars. It is an experience that leaves a deep and lasting emotional imprint.

Through extensive experimentation and hands-on making, this atmosphere has been translated into a lighting system that is both simple and highly adaptable, bringing a distant and almost unreachable feeling back into everyday environments. Soft and diffused halos of light surround each light source like stars in the night sky, creating a quiet and imaginative atmosphere.

The work also invites viewers to engage with it from different perspectives, allowing new spatial, visual, and luminous relationships to continuously emerge. Through the combination and expansion of its modular elements, STARPIC is able to evolve into a variety of scales, configurations, and spatial possibilities.
